ancient assassins
A mind numbing game,
set up in the Renaissance
GAMING
Assassins Creed - Revelations, which is the fourth game in the Assassins franchise, features the three main assassins Ezio, Altair, and Desmond as they battle it out in the old Constantinople of the 1500s and the Renaissance Knight Templar’s. The thirdperson action adventure game is developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft.
The game begins when Desmond, who is comatose and placed in a safe area called the Black Room, wakes up to find his mind shattered and fragmented. To regain his memory he must play the roles of ancestor. Next task is to play as Ezio who finds himself in ancient Constan-tinople. Ezio must search an ancient fortress and the city for five hidden keys that will give the
Golden Apple. The Apple will reveal the true meaning and reason for the Templar Assassin fight. A number of fights and action sequences involving Prince Ahmet and his brother Selim, Sofia and many others from the previous games come up.
A new weapon is the hook blade that allows Ezip to zip across the city and kill rooftop guards even as he flies along the sky. He can scale steep towers by reaching out for thin ledges and using the blade tumbling in a freefall into a bale of hay hundreds of feet below. The old city of Constantinople is presented in all its medieval Renaissance beauty and the sight of the market is beautiful.
I will rate this game at 8.5 on a 1 to 10 scale and this is for the play, scenery and rendition. The game is
available on Xbox, Play Station and for PC and it will cost around ` 1,500. Value for money!

Snow Patrol
Universal Music India
Kicking off in style with I’ll Never Let You Go, Snow Patrol reminds us that rock music lives on.Called Out In The Dark, This Isn’t Everything You Are and the beautifully written Lifening follow the pattern of repeated lyrics, especially so in Lifening. The line “…this is all I ever wanted from life…” is sung so harmoniously that it becomes etched in your brain for the rest of the day. With Fallen Empires supposedly being a more experimental album than previous ones, tracks such as easylistening pop track The Symphony and the synthesised Smithsesque In The End make the album a broader collection of songs. For a sixth album to be this strong is no surprise. Snow Patrol has delivered an interesting record that packs a punch but does not go as far down the experimental path as one wishes it would.
