NFS - Hot Pursuit is the 16th game in the NFS franchise and as with other games, it fills the adrenaline rush for high-speed races in exotic cars. Roar and growl as you drive 66 powerful, sleek and super fast cars through 100 square miles of Seacrest County roads. Developed by Criterion Games and by Exient, the game is published by Electronic Arts.
The story and plot is not very important and what is important is that you can drive as a cop or as an illegal racer. While the plot is |
 |
simple, the racing machines are not. Each car
and model has its own behaviour |

and power and if anything, you have to be very deft with the controls. A mix of the scenery means that you alternate between open roads where only speed matters, to the crowded city roads where the touch on the controls has to be very light. The cops have a slightly more
powerful car so if you are a racer, you can best beat them at the corners or push them into the incoming traffic or even off a cliff.
The car list has you drooling and there are beauties such as Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series, McLaren F1, Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce, Koenigsegg CCXR Edition and many more. As usual, the cars are scale models of the real cars and you can smell the burning rubber and NOX fumes. Each side can call for help in the form of radar jamming, EMP, spike strips and roadblocks. You can also slide around the corners by deftly touching the brakes and there are shortcuts available. However, scrape against someone the wrong way or enter non-driving areas and the panels of the car start stripping off in slow motion.
As usual, the AI is very good and if you are an illegal racer, you have to practice very hard to escape the more powerful cop’s interceptors. If you play as a cop, then do not take anything for granted. The game costs about ` 2,500 and I give a rating of 8.9 for versatility, control and the sheer pleasure of playing.

memories, President Salvador Allende’s final days and catastrophic fall (on 11 September, 1973) are shown from the viewpoint of two young boys attending a private school. Modelled on Wood’s childhood days is the character of Gonzalo Infante (Matias Quer), who is from a well-to-do family, while his friend, Pedro Machuca
(Ariel Mateluna), is from Santiago’s shantytown. Wood allows the story to unfold leisurely. The youthful condition that the film evokes most strongly is not innocence but impotence - the discovery that you are powerless to protect the people you care about from harm, and also
powerless to protect yourself against the shame of your own failure.

Michael Jackson
Sony Music
While primarily focused
on songs that Michael
Jackson worked on
recently, Michael also has earlier |
compelling tracks. The album features guest performances by Akon, 50 Cent, and Lenny Kravitz. Michael is a perfect collection of songs from all genres; songs that will make you dance, love, smile, and even cry. The music is uplifting, the lyrics very positive. Whatever you love best about Michael’s music, you will find a song to suit from this album. Musically, the album also recalls the 80s. If you
liked songs like Smooth Criminal, Another Part Of Me and PYT, songs with a funky pop sound, you’ll love this.
