Versace is defined by over-the-top sexiness and glamour

 

Branded by the signature medusa motif, the Italian label has always epitomised over-the-top sexiness and glamour and has become a household name thanks to dressing up people like Brad Pitt, Jamie Foxx, Madonna, Kate Hudson, Elizabeth Hurley, Jennifer Lopez and others. Versace designs, markets and distributes luxury clothing, accessories, fragrances, cosmetics, watches, jewellery and home furnishings under the various brands of the Versace Group. In addition to clothing and accessories, it also operates a hotel, the Palazzo Versace.
    Ever since Gianni was killed in 1997, his sister, Donatella, has been holding the reins of the fashion empire and over the years has toned down the house’s decadent party image, making it slightly quieter and bringing a new polish to the looks. With 81 boutiques and 123 retail areas worldwide in a variety of luxury multi-designer department stores such as Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf, Goodman, Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Avenue, Versace has not only become a household name but a profitable fashion brand.
